About us
Avinto is an IT services and technology partner helping companies modernize, scale, and execute digital initiatives efficiently. We work with startups and established companies across Norway, Europe, US, Canada etc.
Our model combines a Scandinavian leadership and work culture with strong technical delivery teams based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Our story
Avinto was founded in Kathmandu in January 2024, where Kristian Fauske lived at the time. In Kathmandu, Kristian met his Nepali partners Rahul Kayastha, Sakar Sedhai, and Animesh Adhikari. Through years of experience, we knew how difficult and costly it was to build internal technology teams with the right competence and capacity in Norway and similar countries.
At the same time, we saw a clear opportunity in Nepal’s rapidly growing IT ecosystem. By combining Norwegian leadership and business understanding with highly skilled developers in Kathmandu, we built a “Norwegian company in a Nepali setting”, thus creating something unique in the remote IT-services sector.
